Q: Are the bolt carrier and charging handle included?
A: The bolt carrier and charging handle are sold separately.
All I could see as far as blemishes go was a 2 inch mark in the finish on the inside of the receiver (not even deep enough to call it a scratch) Functionally, it's perfect.
Very good quality. Perfect for I'm building
Stag makes great parts. Even the blems are better than most out there...
It's so nice to shoot a left handed AR, and not have brass flying in front of my face. Couldn't be happier!
I am impressed that it is considered a blem. It has a small scratch that is easily something that will happen in the field. Great buy!
I had this assembled into my first left-handed rifle this past weekend, and took it to the range the next day. I'm stoked! It functioned perfectly, even with filthy TULA ammo and ate about 250rds without a hiccup.
Just before I left for the range that morning I noticed that one leg on the ejection port door kicked out, leaving the door flopping down. I was very concerned that this might cause malfunctions, but was relieved when it did not. Every bit of brass was ejected from the mechanism, ending up in a pile next to my left foot.
As for the "Blemish", it took some serious inspection for me to find it, and I'll probably do worse just knocking it around in the safe. Very happy with this purchase, and plan on buying a few more. Will definitely recommend.
Thank you, Amir!
I could find no blemishes. the quality of standard for first run must be off the chart. I bought the unit with the mistaken idea that it would come with a BCG and charging handle. Lo it does not come with a carrier or charging handle. I have built several of the Stag arms for my South paw relatives and they have always been a spectacular finished product. I will return for the parts that I need. forgive me for not reading the fine print.
I accidentally ordered two of these by accident. I looked over the first one, and if there is a "blem", I sure can't find it. It looks brand new without a mark on it to me. The dust cover spring on the 2nd one had come loose. A one-minute fix and it was back in operation. I'm more than well-pleased with the quality of both of these receivers, but then again, they're STAG ARMS, wouldn't expect anything less. Being a lefty, these are a godsend. Good job, STAG.
Just received the LH AR15 upper (blem) and if it has a blemish, I can't see it.
