FAQ

Q: Will this work with my upper receiver?

A: The barrel assembly will work with any mil-spec upper receiver.

Q: Do you provide instructions on how to install the barrel?

A: Unfortunately we don't provide directions on how to install a barrel and recommend that it be installed by a gunsmith to prevent damage to the rifle.

Q: Do I have to purchase a matched bolt to my barrel?

A: With AR-15's as long as you are using the proper bolt for the caliber you do not need to match a bolt to the barrel.

300 AAC BLACKOUT BUILD

I used two of these barrels to build a left hand and a right hand upper. One for myself and the other for my son. Both barrels made accurate uppers. No function issues with either upper. I use mine almost exclusively with a suppresser shooting supersonic loads but I have shot subsonic loads to make sure that the subsonic rounds fed and functioned properly. My son shoots mostly supersonic with a forward blast baffle installed on the threaded muzzle. We both were able to take a whitetail deer with our 300 blackout and both deer dropped in their tracks when hit by 125 grain Nosler ballistic tips. I would not hesitate to use another Stag Arms barrel if I decided to build another rifle.
